Briarwood is based out of Yelm, Washington. We meet once a month at Calvary Baptist Church in McKenna, which includes an unmounted learning session for the members. We usually have two ride meetings a month, covering both flat and jumping skills. Two of the ways members can demonstrate what they have learned is to participate in a rally and to test their skills at a rating.

Pony Club has a rating system that is used to demonstrate how much the Pony Club member has learned. The rating tests riding ability, horse knowledge, and horse management skills. We encourage our members to strive for higher ratings as a demonstration of what they have learned.

There are also many opportunities for fun and camaraderie. We participate in summer camp, volunteer at shows in the area, have a Halloween party and Christmas party and other activities during the year.
